The Clouse-Elrod Fellowships: To promote and encourage the Creativity-Innovation-Entrepreneurship Eagle-Like Spirit & Vision. The following Fellowship Awards were granted to universities in conjunction with their Programs that support and develop an innovative-entrepreneurship mindset.
All Fellowships are designed to develop a creative and innovative mindset and are applied to different academic areas and thus different Fellowship names may be used to honor pioneers and trailblazers of the past… Respecting the Past—Inspiring the Future
The Virgie Elrod Clouse Creativity Award:
The recipient(s) of this award will demonstrate creativity in their project presentation. Creativity can be displayed through ideas, approaches, problem-solving, or models.
The Dr. Wil Clouse Entrepreneurial Maverick Award:
The recipient(s) who exhibit the most innovative and creative “out of the box thinking” and demonstrate the maverick spirit.
The Owen & Flossie Elrod Trailblazer Award:
This Fellowship is open to students who consider themselves pioneers, leading the way by generating new and innovative ideas in wildlife management, farming techniques (e.g., drones, cattle gene development), and other agricultural-related ventures, including aquaculture.
The Robert O. Clouse Innovation Award:
The recipient(s) of this award will demonstrate the spirit of innovation in their project presentation. Innovation can be displayed through ideas, approaches, problem-solving, or models.
The Robert & Virgie Elrod Clouse Entrepreneurial Spirit Award:
This award combines the two awards above and is offered at times to a Team.
The Ralph and Mary Lou Gentry Community Creativity Award:
Open to students who use their talents to improve the economic and cultural communities of Coffee County, Tennessee.
